Why is it we undervalue ourselves? I am consistently amazed that once I acquire knowledge, I almost immediately forget that I actually acquired it. If I know it, for some reason, I assume everyone must know it. This is a bad habit of self-devaluing.
This week I had a strong reminder that I know more than I think I do. Talking to a group of fabulous, smart and ambitious women business owners, I felt like an expert. Question after question, I was surprised these savvy women needed so much help. And I was elated. This is why I have spent so much time educating myself about my business- to help people. And there it is, remembering that you bring value. What do you bring value to? Do you devalue your skills and if so, how do you overcome it?
