Centered Text Abuse! Please Stop.

Yes, you’re not alone. One of the ways to immediately tell something was created by an amateur is all text is centered. Just like this nifty example I’ve provided you with. How is reading this paragraph centered? Is easy or a little more challenging? Typically, it’s harder to read centered text paragraphs because it’s easy to keep losing your place since your eyes are not sure where the beginning of the next new line will be.

You should use centered text SPARINGLY. Like really. And never use it for paragraphs. Only for titles or headings. If you feel like it looks boring, try bold or using different sizes of text – but really, unless you’re creating a wedding invitation, try to avoid centering.Everyone’s eyes will thank you. 🙂
